New Creature in Christ Church (NCCC) was established in 1998 in obedience to God’s leading under the visionary leadership of Reverend Roseline Adeyinka Obaaro (1948 – 2011) with the aim of propagating the gospel of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Having a Vision to reconcile the world to Christ, our Mission is to build a people with a consciousness of their new nature in Christ and reach out to people in need.
In line with the vision of the Church, NCCC has over the years continued to make disciples from all nations for Christ, reconciling men to God, reuniting families to harmony and spreading love in the process. Men and women have received direction and found a purpose for their existence, and have become established in the faith of Christ, bringing about God fearing individuals and families.
Hence, broadly speaking, our aims and objectives representing Our Mission in this church as enshrined in our Constitution are:
1. By the power of the Holy Spirit, to bring together people who are believers in the Christian doctrine of one God.
2. To teach, preach and inspire the members on the tenets of the Christian faith and minister to their spiritual needs, development, and welfare.
3. To propagate, spread and teach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to members and the world at large.
4. To assist in smooth unify of the cause of Christianity in Nigeria and the world at large
5. To promote discipline and enhance moral standards among members and the society at large.
6. To contribute in general to the progress of the country Nigeria.
In doing this, we are guided by the following scriptures:
Philippians 1:27; 1 Cor 16:1-4; Rom 15:30; Acts 4:34; Acts 2:42.
Reconciliation is the process of reconciling two conflicting positions. That is, bringing about an end to disagreements. We are given this ministry because we have been reconciled to God.
Our ministry is not that of condemnation. It is a ministry of love, and not hatred to bring about peace and harmony. This implies that it is of gathering and not scattering.
